X-Training

The sport of X-Training is a real passion of mine. It incorporates practically every aspect of fitness: strength; speed; endurance; cardio fitness and explosive power and it really pushes your mental ability to the max! It is a gym based sport which consists of back to back exercises; the combination of cardio and resistance exercises with no rest inbetween utilizes all of the body's different energy systems and helps to increase the body's lactic acid threshold.

Competitions are organised through www.definition4fitness.com. These are national events and people travel from all over the county to compete.

The courses are judged in one of two ways; either by racing a competitor through a course which has set distances, weights and repetitions and the fastest time wins; or in some events the races are timed per station and points are awarded depending upon distances and repetitions achieved, and in these instances the highest score would win.

I'd like to say a huge thank you to JST Nutrition who were my official sponsors throughout 2011!

Always seeking new sponsorship opportunities so please get in touch via the bookings page if you are a company who would like to discuss the possibility of this!

I am also keen to hear from fitness journalists / bloggers etc so as to help promote the sport of X-Training as much as possible :)
